About me

It’s been a while since I’ve posted and thought this would be a good time to start over and reintroduce myself.

I’ve been on this photography path for a long time and to blame is my Aunty. I always remembered her walking around with a big shoulder camera (this was handheld in the late 80’s-90’) and filming me and my family but mostly me been a ghostbuster. I always wanted to have a go and very occasionally I’d get the chance but not for very long. I was gifted disposable cameras for many years and finally while in high school bought my own and filmed the last remaining days of school.

I was choosing what to study at college and chose food tech as I had started working in a pub part-time and liked the job but my mum advised me that that would not be a great choice for myself and choose something I would enjoy. I looked through the college brochure many times but one course kept on sticking out to me. It was Multimedia. I did that for the next 2 years and finished with my course and left for university to do the same for a 3 year course. Multimedia is a course that is studies all types of media, from graphic design, film, photography and more.

In the first year of the course I bought my first DSLR camera. It was joined to me. I brought it everywhere with me, literally everywhere.

My passion grew more and more and the understanding of the camera. I tried it in different settings and grew in confidence before putting it to Manual mode. I wanted to be creative with it and loved mostly the long exposure photography.

This then grew to travel photography and model photography. I love night photography but standing out in the dark cold night in the middle of nowhere can sometimes been tiresome. It is amazing tho to see so many stars.

So that’s me. I love photography.
