On 17th November I headed up again to get a meteor shower and show other how to achieve capturing the show but sadly the British weather was up to its old tricks and decided to be cloudy. This is not ideal when wanting to get the stars. Luckily I took some lights and tubes to get creative with. Instead of hitting the usual spots for taking pictures up there we headed to the Druid to experiment around it.

This was done with just a torch and me running around and around and around.
Camera settings:
Exposure time – 120 seconds
Aperture – F3.5
Focus – Manually
After a few more Pictures and ideas we moved on the boulder rocks. With these rocks in complete darkness it was time to get more creative with the lights and tubes. With it been in complete darkness the shutter has to be for about a minute to get the out line of the rocks and with the light from the torch lighting up the faces of the rocks just enough but not too much.

It made a change to my usual photography and has given me and the others that was with me new ideas and the understanding of there camera a lot more.
I will be looking for a few models in the future for some night photography ideas of mine.
Sadly on 15th December I will not be heading back up to Brimham rocks, I will keep you all posted the night time I venture up.
